AC induction motors

High reliability, maintenance-free motors

Induction motors are perfect for applications powered from an AC fixed frequency network (400 Hz). They are controlled from a simple contactor and no electrical drive is needed. This makes them very reliable compared to a DC brushless motor and its associated drive.

A separate drive may be used for variable frequency networks when load characteristics and system needs require some speed variation during use.
